We found the most beautiful flowers at Trader Joe’s and couldn’t pass them up!! So we are showing you how to make bouquets today!!

We've needed bouquets for a lot of events in the past year: homecoming, prom, winter formal, my daughter’s wedding and even just brightening up our home.

I'm so grateful we had some practice with these smaller events, so we were confident enough for my daughter's wedding.

how to Make Beautiful Flower Bouquets for All occasions:

  1. Pick out your flowers: small, medium, large, plus some greens

  2. Take the flowers out of their packaging & lay everything out

  3. Remove the leaves from the flower stems

  4. Start with your centerpiece. On this bouquet it is the large purple roses. Go around adding blooms, but keep your bouquet symmetrical and a bit rounded. Make sure your bouquet is circular and the colors are balanced

  5. Cut the stems - even them out

  6. Wrap with floral tape (for a hand held bouquet)

  7. Wrap with your favorite ribbon. You can tuck it, pin it or glue it

  8. If you are using a vase, you want the blooms barely spilling over the top

  9. Grab your vase and use the table top to line up the stems and snip the bottoms off

These are not only beautiful and custom made, but this can save you so much money! We made 3 bouquets from our Trader Joe’s flowers for$25 total !!!

Two days before my daughter's wedding, we invited over a bunch of our friends and their daughters to help us make all the flower arrangements and bouquets we needed for the wedding. We made several hand held bouquets plus 15 centerpieces.

It was my fondest memory of all our wedding prep. We love having bouquet making parties with our friends for dances and other events as well. It's such a fun way to gather!!

My friend taught me how to make my first bouquet and has cheered me on and given me confidence through the years to get more creative.

She helped us create my daughter's bridal bouquet. She has made such a difference in my life. Now it's YOUR turn. Be that difference for someone else!
