Pumpkin Cupcakes with Snickerdoodle Frosting

1 box spice cake mix (*if you don’t have a spice cake mix, you can use a white or yellow cake and add in spices like we did in the video at the bottom)

1/3 cup canned pumpkin

2 TBSP vegetable oil

3 eggs

Mix together. Put cupcake liners in cupcake tins. Pour mixture in. Bake at 350 F degrees for 12-15 minutes. Makes 14 cupcakes. (Weird number, I know!!)

Frosting:

I used this Betty Crocker Recipe, but added just a couple things:

1/4 tsp cinnamon

dash of cloves

dash of nutmeg

sprinkle of lemon zest on top

The kids were having fun practicing their frosting skills:
