Spooky S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup crisco shortening
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2- 1 3/4 cups flour
2 cups your favorite chocolate chips
15 large marshmallows
8 graham crackers, broken in half
candy eye balls
Directions:
Mix together everything except for the flour, chocolate chips, marshmallows and graham crackers. Once it is nice and creamy, add the flour and mix again. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Place dough in a gallon size ziplock bag. Remove air and zip it up. Use a rolling pin to flatten out dough in the baggie. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 F degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place graham crackers on the baking sheet.
Get the dough filled ziplock bag out of the refrigerator. Slice in short strips. Wrap a strip of cookie dough around a large marshmallow (make sure the top of the marshmallow isn’t covered in dough. Place on top of a graham cracker, marshmallow topside up. Continue until each graham cracker has a dough wrapped marshmallow on top.
Bake at 375 F degrees for 12 minutes until golden around the edges and marshmallow is golden on top.
Once out of the oven, let cool for 5 minutes. Then top with candy eye balls.
