Veggie Packed Pitas

I have developed a strong love for hummus and vegetables these past few months. I love gyros/pitas because they wrap hummus and veggies into a nice little package. It’s wonderful for dinner or a quick lunch. So fresh and easy!!

One way to make these a little different each time you make them is to mix up the hummus! There are so many different flavors out there these days: garlic, roasted red pepper, buffalo ranch, black bean, and many others. My favorite right now: lemon dill. Yum!!

This recipe checks all the boxes: vegan, vegetarian, plant based, dairy free, clean eating, and even gluten free if you eat it as a salad and leave out the pita.

If you aren’t worried about these being vegan, we have a delicious Garlic Herb Chicken that would be a lovely addition!
